Robert Bouvier is a Practicing Internist, Medical Director of the Integrated Health Network, and  Michigan IPA, Researcher in TCM – Transitional Care Management, Compliance, and lecturer and educator for the last 29 years. He has over 20,000 hours of experience in the Emergency Department and ICU. He has a Green Belt in “Lean” – process management Technology - with a focus on patient centered “Continuum of Care” or “Transitional Care Management” of the chronically ill, In-patient, Out-Patient and in the patients HOME. 

  

He is known in the medical lecture world by his passionate plea for “Compliance”.Compliance with people getting to goal with their BP (blood Pressure), Cholesterol, and Blood Sugar. Many patients and providers after listening to his lecture have said ‘he (Dr. Bouvier) left me with a simple “call to action” – to help patients get the number one killer of people - stroke, heart attack and cancer - under control with practical ways for getting them to comply with healthy living’. He serves his community by donating his time and experience to the Public School System, state and federal regulators, and various Christian Ministries, missions and churches. He personally enjoys music performance, hiking, mountaineering, fishing and hunting. His success is based on building strong relationships with people and patients and is passionate about serving his community at large. He believes in the “Golden Rule Plus” (so called Platinum Rule) – Give back to people what THEY want in a relationship.  His favorite scripture is Luke 10:2. The philosophy statement that drives him is “People Don’t Care That You Know Until They Know That You Care”.
